As a rambunctious toddler, Devansh sat through full-length theatre productions with the stillness of a sage in meditation. Devansh has always loved to perform on stage, with his debut performance at 8 years old. Devansh is a student of York University studying Cinema and Media Studies. Some of Devansh’s acting credits include SAWITRI Theatre Group’s We Are So Different Now, and his performance in the series of short plays called Technologic, which was a part of the 2019 Peel Drama Showcase, Why? produced by The Hive Performing Arts, and The Jury: an adaptation of 12 Angry Men. Devansh has been with SAWITRI Theatre Group for as long as he can remember, growing alongside the company in various roles both on and off stage.

His passions include Film & Television—he watches films weekly and writes reviews. He is excited for his directorial debut at The Zip Fest 2025. Over a decade later and he will always choose the stage, whether it is on stage or off stage!
