Nirmal Sidhu

Nirmal Sidhu, originally from Punjab and currently residing in Mississauga, Ontario, draws inspiration for his writing and acting from his roots in Bengal. Educated in Kolkata, he excels in diverse literary forms such as poetry, ghazals, nazms, haikus, short stories, and fiction, published both in print and online platforms. Over the years, he has actively contributed to Hindi and Punjabi theater in Canada, starring in prominent productions like "Half-Complete," "Surdas," "Papa's Glasses," "Odor," "Stupid Girl," and "Vakkhre Rang Kaned de." This year, he marks his return to the stage with the Quanoongo production in Devolution at ZIP Fest 2024, showcasing his continued dedication and growth in the theatrical arts.
